Bear Hug Tower

We want to give a HUGE shout out to Chet Cook for building the wonderful Bear  Hug Tower!  The kids are anxious to fill it up!

What is a Bear Hug?

Throughout the year students are given tickets called Bear Hugs by their teachers, meal duty supervisors, and other staff members. Students earn these tickets by exhibiting positive behaviors at school.  When the Bear Hug Tower is full, the students earn an extra recess!

6th-8th Grade History Curriculum Parent Review Night

The RCSD History curriculum parent review night is on June 3rd and June 5th at the District Office.  It will be from 4pm-6pm and will include only 6th-8th grade curriculum options.  We will be evaluating K-5th grade History/Social-Science Curriculum in the Spring of 2020.

I wonder if you know how much the Brown PTC does for your child? At Vencil Brown School we have a lot of amazing extras that enhance your child’s education, many that are funded by our Parent Teacher Club. I think sometimes we may take for granted the wonderful opportunities that our PTC provides for us every day.
PTC has:

 Raised enough money to purchase 4 chrome carts that are in use daily

 Purchased and installed projectors in every classroom

 Paid for busing for field trips for all grade levels
