Important information

October 30th is the end of the first trimester. Thank you for your flexibility and perseverance in working with us during the distance learning phase of school. Your student’s first-trimester report cards will be emailed on Oct. 30.  

November 4th marks the beginning of two new learning platforms, either In-Person or Champions depending on your selection. Please continue to practice the healthy behaviors of wearing a mask and using social distancing when you come to school.   

If your child is returning to Vencil Brown In-Person, we need each student’s RCSD Chromebooks and chargers that were borrowed for distance learning.  Champions students will need to keep their Chromebooks and chargers. 

The office will be open on Friday, October 30th between 2-4 pm and Tuesday, November 3, from 12-4 to receive your child’s Chromebook and charger. 

All students returning Chromebooks and chargers by 11/3, will receive a bear hug that will be put into a special drawing for a prize.  When returning your Chromebook, please attach a note including:

• First Name
• Last Name
• Teacher

The returned Chromebooks will be used by your child in his/her classroom for future assessments and various assignments.
